What if the most secure place in the
house turned out to be your Mac? After all, RiftVault
redefines what a personal safe should be - on your Mac.
With its organizational features, advanced encryption,
instant searching, and eye-popping visuals you'd be
hard-pressed to find a safe this versatile. Not to
mention more fun.

Clutter-free organization. It's like
a real safe, just on your Mac. But it's not
ugly, messy, clumsy, or time-wasting. Deck the
shelves with all your top-secret information and
marvel at the brilliantly shining credit cards,
passwords, and safe deposit boxes. Everything in
your safe has never been so beautifully
displayed as it is organized. Looking for
something? Start typing and you'll find relevant
results appearing instantly. For an even greater
level of organization, place your items in
categories. You can create as many as you need
and colorize them accordingly. |

Secure
as secure can be. So, you think
someone, or some malicious program, is after
your data. With RiftVault, that’s not a problem.
After 3 failed login attempts, everyone –
including yourself - will be locked out for 5
minutes. RiftVault will also lock itself
automatically when inactive for a certain amount
of time (configurable in preferences). And just
in case you find RiftVault turning heads, you
can hide your information in a snap - just by
switching to another application. RiftVault
gracefully dims all application windows,
immediately thwarting any onlooker nosiness.
Then, when you’re sure it’s safe to get back to
what you were doing, simply switch back to
RiftVault and watch everything reappear just as
quickly. |

Fast
decryption. Everything you place
inside RiftVault is securely stored using
256-bit AES encryption. As the encrypted data is
accessed on your hard drive, it's cached
temporarily while RiftVault is open. Caching
improves performance on desktops and increases
battery life on laptops. Most of all, caching
means that making changes to a few items won't
delay when you've got mountains of data. And
when you close RiftVault, the caches are
securely erased from RAM so there's no
compromise in security. |

Enjoy
the Inspector.
Double-click an item (or select the corresponding
menu option) to open Item Inspector where you
can view and edit the contents of anything in
the safe. As you enter credit card information,
pick from various credit card designs and start
typing on the front of the card. Or, drag and
drop some files into a Safe Deposit Box. It's
all done beautifully, thanks to Item Inspector.
What's more, Item Inspector intelligently saves
whatever it is that you're typing as you type
it. And all other views are updated in tandem,
saving you up to 3 clicks every time you want to
edit something. If you have a wide-screen Mac,
you'll save even more time if you permanently
place Item Inspector on the left or right side
of the display. |
|
Plenty
to store. RiftVault includes a host
of predefined item types so you can store your
confidential information in a flash. If you find
you need to store something that doesn't
correspond to a template, just place it in a
sticky note. Or, if your confidential
information is already on your computer, just
drag and drop it in from the Finder. The files
will be ZIP compressed, encrypted, and placed
inside a Safe Deposit Box.

 |
Passwords / Web Login
Keep your passwords & web logins
close at hand. So next time you're asked for a
password, you don't end up wasting time trying
to find - or worse - remember it. |
|
 |
Credit Card
Store information for each of
your credit cards. Pick from several credit card
types (including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and
American Express). Along with standard credit
card fields, you can keep customer service
information in case your credit cards are lost
or stolen. |
|
 |
Frequent Flyer Information
If you travel frequently, you're
more than likely to have enrolled in a frequent
flyer program. Now you can keep all this
information on your Mac for quick access. |
|
 |
Calling Card
Say you're traveling
internationally with your laptop and need to
phone home. Problem is, you forgot your calling
card. Not a problem any more when you have your
information in RiftVault. |
|
 |
Insurance Information
Insure your insurance
information. Just in case the unexpected happens
(e.g., your wallet or purse is stolen), you
won't be without it. |
|
 |
Bank Account
Get those bank account numbers
out of the file cabinet and into the safe where
no one can access them. And save some time next
time. With RiftVault, you won't have to look for
them. |
|
 |
Secure Note
Write handy notes containing
whatever information you want to secure. |
|
 |
Safe Deposit Box (for everything else)
Securely store up to 2GB¹
worth of compressed files and folders in a
single Safe Deposit Box. Files stored in a Safe
Deposit Box are ZIP-compressed and AES-256
encrypted. |
1. Maximum file storage
size depends on the complexity of the directory
structure, as additional storage is required for
maintaining the directory list.
