I have lots of contacts. Why is FastCall slowing down?

The search engine is written in high-performance C++ code, and makes use of a number of optimizations to make searching as fast as possible. Unfortunately, due to the way Apple safeguards the contact database, FastCall must load every contact in your database during startup. This load process may take several seconds or longer if you have a very large database. It is possible to start searching while contacts are loading, even if they aren't yet visible in the list view—FastCall will continue matching contacts as they load, and display the ones that match.

Why do I receive a pop-up alert when I tap to dial a phone number, and how can I prevent it from appearing?

With the release of iOS 3, Apple changed the behavior of the dialing interface that is accessible to third party applications. Now, whenever a phone number is dialed from within FastCall and competing third party applications, iOS displays an alert that looks like the following:

There is currently no way to disable this pop-up alert that appears. Apple claims the confirmation pop-up is a safety feature intended to prevent malicious applications from utilizing phone features.
